Reflexology Techniques in Practice

This CPD will cover reflexology techniques specifically aimed at hypnotherapists, and other therapists and practitioners, and we will be using ONLY THE HANDS, and possibly some points on the ears. (If you are put off by the thought of feet, you needn’t worry!)

Jasmine will introduce us to the fascinating subject of reflexology, and show us how to use hand reflex points for our own wellbeing as practitioners. She will also tell us how to share information with, and demonstrate to, clients for the purpose of helping with relaxation and wellbeing.

CPD – Emergency First Aid At Work Level 3 (White Cross Training)

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a regulated one day course. The course meets the guidelines and requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent changes made in 2016. It meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements.

A hands-on approach ensures that attendees learn first aid skills and have the confidence to use them in a real life situation. Learners are assessed throughout the course on their practical demonstrations, Q&A sessions and quizzes.

 CPD – Working with Groups

This CPD will cover everything you need to know to be able to effectively offer hypnotherapy in a group context. We will cover weight loss groups, but also other types such as relaxation, goal achievement, and so on, and we will cover multiple-session courses, as well as one-off workshops/classes. The course covers all aspects of planning, preparing, practicalities, presentation, marketing, ethics, structure and content, and many other considerations that may arise.

This CPD will include the presentation of information, as well as group discussion, exercises, and practical work in small groups.

Saturday 24 August, 10am – 3pm

 CPD – Weight Loss/Management

This informative CPD course will refresh and add to your knowledge and skill around working with weight loss, or weight management. We will cover the emotional, psychological and behavioural aspects of eating, and how to explain this to clients within the context of SF brain-based hypnotherapy. We will discuss the issues surrounding weight and body image and how these impact the journey towards the goal. We will cover the structure and format of SF hypnotherapy sessions, and how to work effectively with clients towards their goals.

This course includes the presentation of information, group discussion, exercises, and practical group work. If you currently feel underconfident working in this area, this CPD will help!

Friday 27 September 2024, 10am – 5pm

Refresher CPD – Fears & Phobias

This is a refresher CPD course covering all aspects of dealing with fears and phobias within hypnotherapy. We will look at: specific phobic responses, complex or non-specific phobic responses, the grey area, how to decide on course of therapy, how to plan therapy, the Swish technique, the Rewind, the Reframe, what to do if it ‘doesn’t work’.

This will be an informative and practical day with plenty of opportunity to practice these skills with fellow attendees.
