I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Lecturer and Supervisor. I am very proud to be the Owner/Proprietor of the prestigious Observatory Practice, and I will endeavour to continue to develop our outstanding reputation as a centre of excellence for therapy and wellbeing.
I am also an Accredited, Certified EFT Practitioner, and a member of EFT International and the EFT Guild. I am also a Yoga Teacher.
As Senior Lecturer for Inspiraology Hypnotherapy Training in Plymouth, I am excited to bring my experience and knowledge to this innovative and future-focused program. The Inspiraology HPD course comprises the latest research on brain-based psychotherapeutic techniques with a practical approach to developing clinical skills and experience. I am thrilled to be able to welcome students onto the course and look forward to supporting and inspiring the next generation of practitioners.
I have always been deeply interested and inspired by wellbeing, personal development, and helping people to reach their potential. Throughout my life I have found various means of exploring these key areas through education, therapy, language and the arts.
I began teaching over twenty years ago with a Performing Arts group for a local community project and went on to be involved in another community theatre project. Years later, after completing a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Film Practice, I began teaching filmmaking workshops at Plymouth College of Art (now Plymouth Arts University). This led to my writing and teaching the Creative Digital Media Apprenticeship, as well as additional Creative Writing classes for children and adults. During this time, I also became involved in limited-edition publishing and craft bookbinding.
I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in January 2015 and quickly established a busy full-time practice. In 2016 I was invited to teach Clinical Hypnotherapy at The Observatory Practice in Plymouth, and as a guest lecturer in London. I qualified with the Clinical Supervision Level 5 Diploma in 2018 and am delighted to offer both group and one-to-one supervision to a number of other practitioners.

I am an accredited member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, and the National Board for Hypnotherapy, and The National Board for Modern Psychotherapy. I am fully insured and DBS checked.
